Indeed, hearts can get warmer even in a freezing cold place. A visit to the newly-refurbished Nestlé Creamery proves it.

The new ice cream stopover was recently remodeled and given a new look, and the moment you walk through its door, you’ll feel excitement in the air. You’ll see it in the cheerful colors of the interiors, the factory-inspired look of the place, and the gigantic, colorful menu. If these are not enough, wait till you smell the heavenly scent of freshly-baked sugar cones wafting through the air.

In case you’re wondering, yes, this is the same place that became popular in the ‘70s and ‘80s. “People always approach us and say ‘Oh, we used to come here before,’” Michelle Chang-Co shared.

Michelle, with partners Joel Tuquid and Emerson Lim from Innovasian Ideas, Inc., the same company behind the success of Thumbs Up ice cream and the popular Orbitz Pearl Shakes, would like to relive these wonderful childhood memories. That’s why they immediately took the challenge of sprucing up the place when Nestlé Philippines gave them the offer. They were given three weeks to do it.

From the start, Michelle and her partners had a clear vision in mind: They wanted the happy faces of hordes of families enjoying their cold and hot treats. They wanted families to bond over its delicious ice cream and tasty comfort foods like spaghetti and fried chicken.

The Nestlé Creamery never runs out of various classic ice cream delights like cobblers and parfaits using the world-famous Nestlé ice cream as its base. These include the Old Fashioned Banana Split, the Classic Strawberry Sundae and the Simply Strawberry Parfait, the Peach Melba Split, the Melba Banana Split and Black and White.

Not to be missed are classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, mocha, strawberry, mango and ube and premium flavors like Chunky Macapuno, Double Dutch, Cookies and Cream and Rocky Road.

“We offer an interactive atmosphere where customers are treated to a view of how their ice cream of choice is made,” Michelle said.

Aside from classic favorites, Michelle and her partners also came up with ice cream servings good for three to four like the Bucket of Apples, apple ice cream served in a bucket with sugar cones; Tatlong Itlog, banana turon with caramel sauce and scoops of ice cream; and Tuxedo, vanilla Swiss roll with cookies and cream-flavored ice cream glazed with white and dark chocolate sauce.

Another addition to the fun factory is Marble Slab, a frozen slab of marble where ice cream delights are created in style. If you want to be daring, you can either pick your own ice cream flavors from the freezer and ask the waiters to mix them for you. You may also choose from its taste-tested Marble Slab Concoctions like the Vanilla Oaty Rum Caramel, the Piñata Crunch, the Vanilla Smarties Choco Fudge or the Vanilla Berry Cheesecake.

But the Nestlé Creamery is definitely more than just about ice cream; it also boasts of a selection of hot and tasty meals. Destined to become the ultimate place for family outings, the Nestlé Creamery also boasts of an indoor and outdoor playground for kids and ample, secured parking space.
