First, the bad news: Willie Revillame has ceased to be a millionaire.

Now, the good news: Willie Revillame is still a billionaire.

That’s a joke spawned by persistent rumors that Willie has been losing heavily (to the tune of hundreds of millions) at the casino. Although he didn’t deny it (without revealing how much he did lose), Willie said that he only gambled to relax, without feeling guilty about his loss(es) because it was his hard-earned money he was betting anyway and not public money.

Like the hype for the Pacquiao-Mayweather Fight of the Century last May 2 in Las Vegas, the one for Willie’s TV comeback (after an absence of more than a year) will culminate at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon on GMA with the premiere of his game show Wowowin.

“Uulan ng jacket,” promised Willie who has made his giveaway jackets some kind of his own trademark. It has become so popular, much-awaited by the studio audience, that Willie has decided to call one of the games Bigyan Ng Jacket.

Directed by Randy Santiago (Willie’s co-host with John Estrada on his former noontime shows on ABS-CBN), Wowowin (so named because everybody wins, walang uuwing luhaan) will be telecast not from Willie’s million-peso studio at the old Delta Theater but in a new one on Kalayaan Avenue, Quezon City, which Willie himself built.

Okay then, everybody tune in to GMA at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.

Why Pinky Webb quit ABS-CBN

Confirmed: Pinky Webb (photo) has resigned from ABS-CBN, her home for many years and to which she has been loyal even if she was getting juicy offers from other networks.

Pinky is so far mum on the matter but according to Funfare sources, Pinky is unhappy with the way the network has been treating her — you know, she felt overlooked and never given choice assignments.

The rumor is that Pinky might move to CNN Philippines.

Said Pinky’s Kapamilya colleague: “Reyna siya doon.”

The little girl has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the name Elizabeth believed to be in tribute to the Queen

William registered the birth this afternoon at Kensington Palace, describing Kate as Princess of the United Kingdom

Prince Philip was pictured in Sandringham, the Queen's estate in Norfolk, where they are believed to have been together over the weekend

The Queen has finally been introduced to her great-granddaughter Princess Charlotte.

The Queen was driven to Kensington Palace this afternoon where she was introduced to her great-grandaughter, Princess Charlotte

The 89-year-old monarch travelled to Kensington Palace this afternoon to meet with the newborn royal, where she stayed for just half an hour.

The Queen was spotted arriving in a green Range Rover at a side entrance to the palace at around 2.35pm. She then left just before 3pm through the main entrance on Kensington High Street, in a convoy of two cars and and four police motor bikes.

Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, who was born three days ago, is the Queen's fifth great-grandchild and also shares her name.

Prince Philip this afternoon headed down to London from Norfolk and it is hoped that he, too, will soon meet his great-granddaughter.

Meanwhile, Prince Philip was seen driving on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk today, where the Queen has been over the weekend

The Queen’s husband had spent the weekend up at Wood Farm, a private residence on their Sandringham estate.

The 93-year-old was seen leaving at around 1.30pm in the rear seat of a Land Rover Discovery and was expected to be driven straight to Buckingham Palace, where the Queen is currently in residence.

The prince is understood to have an engagement tonight, meaning he may squeeze in a visit beforehand or even tomorrow, before the Cambridges are expected to leave for their new life in Norfolk.

Just after his mother left the palace, Prince Charles was also seen arriving for his second cuddle with the newborn royal. The doting grandfather, who has openly spoken of his hope that his daughter and son-in-law would have a girl, had already been to visit Princess Charlotte with Camilla on Sunday.

It is likely he was taking the chance to see as much as he can of his granddaughter before Prince William and Kate leave London for their Norfolk county home, Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate.

The monarch's visit came as the Duke of Cambridge formally registered the birth of his baby daughter, in a near identical way to the manner in which Prince George's birth was registered.

As with the royal birth in 2013, The Duke of Cambridge signed the birth register at Kensington Palace witnessed by a Registrar from Westminster Register Office. On the certificate, he gave his wife's occupation as 'Princess of the United Kingdom'.

The newest Royal was born at 8.34am on Saturday weighing 8lbs and 3oz - less than three hours after the Duchess was admitted to hospital

Kate, 33, has rarely described herself as a princess, preferring to use the title Duchess of Cambridge, which was conferred on her by the Queen on her wedding day. But she is also Princess William of Wales, entitling her to be described as 'Princess of the United Kingdom'.

The 32-year-old duke gave his occupation as 'Prince of the United Kingdom' rather than a helicopter pilot.

Normally, parents have to attend a register office within 42 days of a child being born. But in the case of Princess Charlotte, the deputy registrar of Westminster, Alison Cathcart, travelled to Kensington Palace.

The same registrar also visited the palace after George's birth. She has presided over several celebrity marriages including those of Sylvester Stallone, Joan Collins, Paul McCartney, Barbara Windsor and David Walliams.

After signing Prince George's birth certificate, she revealed how her big day nerves led her to botch the royal form-filling which triggered death threats and calls for her to be sacked over her messy handwriting.

She described how her royal assignment – 'probably the highlight of my career' – was marred by an attack of nerves, saying she had to have 'more than one attempt'.

William was given a standard certificate to register the birth of 'Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge'. Miss Cathcart filled it in before it was signed by the duke.

The certificate states the date and place of Charlotte's birth – May 2 and Paddington, Westminster. William's full name, His Royal Highness Prince William Arthur Philip Louis Duke of Cambridge, is given, and the certificate includes Kate's full name of Catherine Elizabeth Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, her birthplace as Reading and her maiden name of Middleton.

The couple's 'usual address' is described as Kensington Palace, London, and the duke signed the certificate simply 'William'.

Kensington Palace said in a brief statement: 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have formally registered the birth of Princess Charlotte.

'The Duke of Cambridge signed the birth register at Kensington Palace this afternoon witnessed by a registrar from Westminster Register Office.'

Princess Charlotte's birth register document will be kept, along with thousands of others, at the Westminster Registration Office.

Ms Cathcart said: 'It was an honour to register the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Westminster City Council has a long history of registering royal births, including Prince George, and it's a pleasure to formally welcome the latest addition to the family.'

Yesterday, the princess's name was finally revealed to the world as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The name Elizabeth is a touching nod to the Queen - whom Prince William deeply respects - while Diana has been used in tribute to honour the memory of William's late mother, the Princess of Wales.

William and Kate have also recognised the Duke's father Charles - of which Charlotte is the feminine version - in the selected full name.

The Princess, who is fourth in line to the throne, was born three days ago but the Queen was on royal duties. She attended a military event at Richmond Castle, North Yorkshire, on Saturday, where she was dressed appropriately in pink as William and Kate's daughter was born.

Now, with the election just two days away, Her Majesty is likely to have travelled back to London because she needs to be back at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen's other grandchildren are Princess Charlotte's brother Prince George, Savannah and Isla Phillips, the daughters of Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn, and Mia Grace Tindell, the daughter of Zara Phillips MBE and her husband Mike Tindell.

Other members of the family have already met the new addition, including Kate's mother Carole Middleton, her sister Pippa and her father Michael who spent time with the newborn at Kensington Palace over the weekend.

Prince Harry, speaking from Australia where he has been working with the country's armed forces, described his niece as 'absolutely beautiful' and said he could not wait to meet her.

He was informed of the baby's safe delivery before a public announcement was made in the UK and abroad on the Kensington Palace Twitter account.

Although the Prince had hoped to be in England to greet his newest family member, duty called and he returned to Australia on Monday to resume his four-week placement with the Australian Defence Force.

Kate and William are now expected to head to Amner Hall in Norfolk, which is part of the Sandringham estate, where they are due to set up residence with their new daughter in the privacy of the sprawling estate.

The couple are expected to issue a family photograph with their daughter and 21-month-old Prince George in the coming weeks, but are otherwise expected to remain behind closed doors at their ten-bedroom property, away from the world's media.

The couple are fiercely protective of their children's privacy and her christening, which will be in three or four months, is likely to be the next time Princess Charlotte is seen in public. Even then, that is unlikely to be a public event, with only a handful of photographs released to the media.

William is currently on an extended six-week paternity leave and will start his new role as an air ambulance pilot on June 1.

Kensington Palace revealed the royal baby's full name yesterday after days of speculation and close friends of Princess Diana immediately said the choice means the spirit of Prince William's beloved mother 'lives on'.

Kate and William sought the blessing of both the Queen and Prince Charles before announcing what they had decided to call their daughter.

Within minutes of the name being announced, Diana's closest friend Rosa Monckton said: 'Diana's spirit lives on in her sons, and now her name lives on in her granddaughter #CharlotteElizabethDiana'. Diana was the godmother of Mrs Monckton's daughter Domenica.

Royal aides told MailOnline that the baby's second names were self-evident and would 'speak for themselves'. As for Charlotte, they pointed out that much had been written about it being the feminine form of Charles.

Another royal source said they understood the couple simply liked the name – but admitted it was a 'happy coincidence' that both William's father and mother would live on in their grand-daughter.

For William, naming his daughter after Charles will be seen as a clear public demonstration of his love for the prince.

William is protective of his father, defending him against criticism he has often faced and often speaking of his deep admiration for the amount of time the prince commits to his charitable work.

The Prince of Wales strove to protect William and Prince Harry following the death of their mother and backed them as they have worked to honour her memory through their charitable connections. They, in turn, accepted and supported him when he married Camilla Parker Bowles, now the Duchess of Cornwall.

Charlotte is also the middle name of Kate's sister Pippa Middleton. In French, it means 'petite' and 'feminine' or 'free man'.

In royal history, George IV named his only child Charlotte, but she died in childbirth at 21. George III's wife was Queen Charlotte, who was born 1744 and founded Kew Gardens. She used it instead of her given first name, Sophie.

It is customary for royals to look to their past for name ideas, the repetition in each generation an effort to preserve the continuity of one of the world's oldest institutions. With that in mind, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are likely to have chosen Elizabeth in tribute to the reigning Queen.

Her Majesty is held in great respect by her family and William has spoken of how she has become an even more important part of his life as he has grown older, while Kate, for her part, has forged a strong bond with the monarch since becoming a royal.

Other royals to have the name include the Queen Mother and the Duchess of Cambridge herself, who has it as her middle name. It is also Carole Middleton's middle name.

Many thought it likely that William and Kate would use the name Diana, as a mark of respect to his mother, who always craved a daughter. The Duke places great importance on honouring her memory, having already used Diana's sapphire and diamond engagement ring when he proposed to Kate.

After the name was announced, historians said the selection was 'nicely-balanced compliment'.

Historian Dr Judith Rowbotham of the University of Plymouth said: 'By using both Charlotte and Diana, Prince William is paying tribute to both his parents. And you have got a tribute to his much-loved grandmother Elizabeth, and indeed great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother). It is a nicely balanced compliment.'

Royal historian Hugo Vickers said there would have been 'disappointment and surprise' if Elizabeth and Diana had not been included.

He said: 'Queen Elizabeth will become on September 9 the longest reigning British monarch and obviously she is the great matriarch of the family, highly respected by Prince William and no doubt by Catherine too. So I think we would have been very disappointed if that name hadn't been there and I'm sure it was always their intention to include it.'

The newest royal will be known as Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. The Queen brought in a rule change, brought when the Duchess was pregnant with Prince George, to allow a girl to become and HRH - Her Royal Highness. Before this, the new princess would have been given the title Lady Charlotte Mountbatten-Windsor.

Her arrival will shunt her uncle, Prince Harry, down to fifth in the order of succession. Her great uncle, Prince Andrew, will fall out of the top five for the first time to sixth.

Although she is unlikely to ever become queen, it is not unheard of for a second child in the direct line of succession to accede to the throne.

Mostly recently the Queen's own father, King George VI, replaced his elder brother, King Edward VIII, who abdicated over his love for the 'unsuitable' American divorcee Wallis Simpson.

Thanks to a recent change in the law, the couple's daughter cannot be superseded in her claim to the throne by any younger brother who may yet come along.

The Succession to the Crown Act, passed in 2013, means that male heirs no longer precede their elder sisters in the line of succession

Many royal watchers had been desperately hoping for a girl – the last to be born in the direct line of succession was Princess Anne back in 1950.
