It was obvious that the couple wants to project to the public how they so love each other. It was a SUBTLE way of making inggit other ODD couple to do the same. ‘Yan ang reading namin sa dalawa.

Unwittingly, ipinangangalandakan nila sa social media na PARAGON of purity ang kanilang love affair lalo pa’t nakasuot sila ng white in those photos.

The couple is scheduled to wed in the US on Dec. 8.

“Nakakahiya OMG forgive them. Alam nilang kasalanan, ibandera pa ba sa buong mundo?” Kaloka ang mga comments, ‘di ba?

But there are those who understood where the couple is coming from and said, “Bago kau pumunua sa ginagawa ng iba, isipin nyo muna kung malinis ang inyong budhi, then kung malinis kau, at sa tingin nyo nasa tuwid n landas kayo, alam nyo kung paano pangaralan ang taong nagkakamali.

“Pinangalandakan nyo nman n nagbabasa kayo ng bible, taz ung bibig at bunganga nyo kasing itim ng burak s imburnal, wag n kau magmamalinis, mas madumi p kau s pinupuna nyo.. sariling opinyon lng po,” he added.

For us, tama na ang pagpapapansin. Treasure it because it will not last forever. ‘Wag na kayong gumaya sa ibang showbiz couples na WAGAS ang KADAYUKDUKAN na ipangalandakan na sobra silang in love sa kanilang mga dyowa.

Mar to online bashers: Your comments are irrelevant By Louis Bacani (philstar.com) | Updated December 10, 2014 - 10:43am 14 1910 googleplus0 1

Screen grab from YouTube shows DILG chief Mar Roxas falling from a motorcycle while inspecting typhoon-hit areas in Taft, Eastern Samar last Sunday. Netizens called the attention of Roxas for not wearing a helmet.

MANILA, Philippines - Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas hit back at netizens who bashed him over a viral photo showing him falling from a motorcycle in an area affected by Tropical Cyclone "Ruby."

Roxas, who is leading the national government frontline team in Eastern Samar that was battered by Ruby, explained why he decided to use a motorcycle while inspecting typhoon-hit areas in Taft, Eastern Samar.

"If it required walking, if it required motorcycle, whatever it required, I was simply doing my job which was getting to ground zero as quickly as possible," Roxas said in a phone-patch interview with ANC on Tuesday afternoon.

"All other comments are irrelevant and frankly, reflect more on the people making them," he added, referring to the attacks against him on social media.

Roxas' viral photo, which was posted Sunday night, received jeers from netizens who believed that it was a mere political act from the administration's presumptive standard-bearer in the 2016 presidential elections.

Read: Viral: Mar falls off motorcycle in Samar

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte had appealed to the public not to put color to the incident.

Valte said Roxas deemed it best to ride the motorcycle since some roads in Eastern Samar were blocked by toppled trees and other debris.

Just last week, Roxas was also bashed online after a photo showing him riding the MRT was posted on the Facebook Page "Oras Na, Roxas Na." After it was revealed that it was taken by "Team Mar" and not a commuter, netizens commented that the photo was simply staged.

Recently, Men's magazine Esquire Philippines also received online flak for featuring Roxas for its November 2014 issue, which commemorated the first anniversary of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

The cover showed a tired, waving Roxas, who was seated on what appeared to be construction materials for the rehabilitation efforts at the Tacloban City port.

Netizens have slammed the magazine cover as "insulting" and "insensitive" while some noted the "sarcasm" in using Roxas' photo.

Meanwhile, Roxas' wife, broadcaster Korina Sanchez, also received jeers after commenting on live television that Ruby should hit Japan instead of the Philippines. She also went under fire in the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda last year after criticizing CNN's Anderson Cooper for his reports on the government's relief efforts.

Aiko still sees the beauty of life  Dolly Anne Carvajal  @inquirerdotnet Philippine Daily Inquirer  12:00 AM | Wednesday, December 10th, 2014

Aiko Melendez will showcase a little-known side of her personality and hold a concert.

Hanging out with Aiko Melendez is always a delight. I love how our friendship has no “show biz” feel at all.

Being nurturing is second-nature to Aiko. She has a way of making you feel that she really gets you.

Turning a year zanier, she will hold a birth anniversary concert on Dec. 16 at The Crowd Bar in Madison Square, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong, with special guests, her ex Jomari Yllana, her son Andre and friend Richard Gomez.

She is all set to unleash the chanteuse in her. I celebrate all the wonderful things she is.

Here’s my tête-à-tête with Aiko:

What’s your birth anniversary gift to yourself?

Peace of mind. This year wasn’t good so I pray that God will bless me with work and good health next year.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned so far?

To rise every time I stumble.

What’s your advice to ex-partners on how they can be friends like you and Jomari?

Consider your kids’ feelings before your own. Your kids have nothing to do with the failure of your marriage. Being friends with your ex will have a positive effect on your kids.

Is there any chance of reconciliation for you and Jom?

Jom and I no longer bother with the question of whether we are good for each other or not. Whoever God will bless me with, I would accept because His plan is always the best.

What’s the latest about your kids?

Andre is already a binata (young man). He is into DJ spinning. Andre and I have a pact that he can only enter show biz after high school. Marthena is my mini-me.

Tell us about your birthday show.

It’s my “me” time. I invited all my friends. It will showcase my journey. I want to share a different side of my personality, which is singing. I am no belter but I sing from the heart.

What don’t people know about you?

People see me as a tough woman. But they don’t know that I cry myself to sleep. I am very emotional. I’m lucky to have met God. This year was my worst but with God, I am still able to see beauty in life.

What kind of guy will make you fall in love again?

A simple guy who would take care of me and have the same faith I have in God.

What’s the best part of being single?

I don’t owe any man an explanation.

What’s the toughest part of being single?

Planning for the future of my kids. Coming to terms with the idea that I may have to face life alone when my kids are grown up.

Ballad of Yeng and Yan

Celebs’ fave “chronicler” of the different milestones in their lives, Nice Print Photo, did the prenup shoot of the next show biz couple to get hitched, Yeng Constantino and Yan Asuncion.

Shot in Thunderbird Resort (La Union), the concept involved “two musicians on the road.”

There were lots of hearts in the pictorial because Yeng loves this symbol of romance. She may be a rocker, but she can be sweet and mushy, too.

They composed a song for their wedding, which they both recorded for their prenup video.

The cool couple met at Victory Church where Yan is part of the song ministry.

Yeng and Yan are each other’s “yin” and “yang.”
