JESSICA SANCHEZ BACK IN MANILA, SPECIAK GUEST AT 'EAT BULAGA'

Nasa Pilipinas muli si Jessica Sanchez para sa isang pagtatanghal kasama ang iba pang naging kampeon sa mga singing contest. Nitong Sabado, pinasaya ni Jessica ang mga 'dabarkads' sa "Eat Bulaga!" nang awitin niya ang kaniyang bagong single na "Tonight." Bukod sa kaniyang pagtatanghal sa Eat Bulaga, aliw na aliw din ang American Idol runner-up sa bulilit host ng noontime na si Ryzza Mae Dizon. Pagbalik naman ni Jessica sa America, may gagawin umano siyang isang malaking proyekto pero hindi pa raw niya ito pwedeng sabihin kung ano. Gayunman, kumpirmado na na si Jessica ang aawit ng pambansang awit ng Pilipinas sa muling pagtutuos nina Manny Pacquiao at Timothy Bradley Jr. sa Abril, na gagawin sa Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sa pambihirang pagkakataon, nagsama-sama ang mga Filipino, American at Filipino-American celebrities sa isang concert sa New York City para sa isang benefit concert para sa mga naging biktima ng bagyong Yolanda nitong Marso 11. Sa isang bahagi ng Pinoy Relief Benefit Concert na ginanap sa Madison Square Garden, inawit ng may dugong Pinoy na si Jessica Sanchez ang sikat na awiting "Let It Go," kasama ang mismong gumawa ng kanta na si Robert Lopez, isang Fil-Am. Kamakailan lang ay nagwagi sa Oscars bilang Best Original Song ang “Let It Go,” na theme song animated movie na Frozen.Kabilang sa mga nagtanghal sa benefit concert ay sina Jennifer Hudson, Charice Pempengco, Jessica Sanchez, Plain White Ts at ang Pentatonix. Nandoon din at nagsilbing mga host programa ang mga Filipino-American na sina apl.de.ap ng Black Eyed Peas, actor Dante Basco at ang mag-asawang Robert Lopez at Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Dumalo rin si Dr. Mehmet Oz, host ng TV show na The Dr. Oz Show, at hinikayat ang mga tao na magkaloob ng kanilang tulong.

2 YEARS AGO: Jessica Sanchez sings live at Eat Bulaga, duets with Allan K singing ‘And I Am Telling You’

American Idol Season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez sang live at Eat Bulaga, GMA-7‘s daily noontime show, this Thursday, September 20, 2012; and had a duet with Allan K, as shown in the video below. Sanchez arrived in Manila last Tuesday morning, along with other American Idol 2012 Top 10 finalists.As featured at GMA-7 that day, Jessica Sanchez was the special guest of Eat Bulaga and sang a few lines of “And I Am Telling You” along with show co-host Allan K, to the delight of the studio audience as well as other co-hosts. Sanchez also had fun talking with Jimmy Santos, Jose Manalo, and even posed for photos. After Jessica was interviewed by Allan K and Ryan Agoncillo, Allan K invited her to do a duet with him and the two sang “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,” the song that Jessica Sanchez and Jennifer Holliday sang together during the American Idol 2012 Finale night last May 23. On that same month, Allan K impersonated Jessica Sanchez in Eat Bulaga‘s ‘Bulagaan 2012′ segment. On early June, Michael V. and Ogie Alcasid made a spoof on the Jennifer Holliday-Jessica Sanchez duet, where the Eat Bulaga co-host impersonated Holliday, who originally sang “And I Am Telling You.”

Nevertheless, Sanchez alone was enough to please the crowd.

Later, the 17-year old Filipino-Mexican-American singer invited the public to watch the American Idols Live! Tour 2012 concert, to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City tomorrow, Friday, September 21.

Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips will be joined by the rest of the American Idol Season 11 Top 10 finalists.
