Written by DINNO ERECE - CLASH OF THE TITANS. No doubt Willie Revillame (photo) is the king of TV5 primetime as he can start and end his game show, “Wil Time Big Time,” on his bidding but will this continue come July 30?

Beginning July 30, TV5 is rearranging its primetime programming. It’s newest soap, “Enchanted Garden,” will start at 6:30 and the new reality show “Artista Academy” will start at 8:30 (although in the release it read 9 p.m.) sandwiching Willie’s show.

So “Wil Time Big Time” will be aired from 7 to 8:30 p.m. (or 9 p.m.), making it one and a half hours (or two hours) long; far from his usual three (and sometimes more) hours, depending on his whim.

Will Willie give in this time or will it be a drastic management decision to stop the show without notice?

Willie has a new formidable Kapatid to contend with; Ms. Wilma Galvante, who runs “Artista Academy.”

Ms. Wilma was a Kapuso and Willie was a Kapamilya and now they’re both Kapatid; which sibling will be more favored this time around?

STARTING ALL OVER. Daiana Menezes has it all but she’s making sure she will have more with her radical career decision.

The first – and so far the only successful –Brazilian to make it in local showbiz after beign introduced in “Eat Bulaga!,”

Daiana’s success is fully attributed to the fact that she really learned our language. Now out of “Eat Bulaga!,” and therefore out of the management of Malou Choa Fagar, Daiana can fairly say that she’s still on top of everything.

She has thirteen endorsements, a regular show in ABS-CBN and an indie movie in the States.

But she is making sure her career continues its rise by signing up with the Viva Artist Center stable of Ms. Veronique del Rosario. Daiana has gotten a new manager, which will share management duties.

This is one way of making sure that Daiana will not fade like the rest of her compatriots.

NEW CINEMALAYA CATEGORY. Octo-Arts wisely set up an advance screening for Joey Javier Reyes, “Mga Mumunting Lihim,” one of the Director’s Showcase entry in Cinemalaya, that starts today.

All four main stars, who play friends in the story – Judy Ann Santos, who is dying, Iza Calzado, the most successful, Agot Isidro, the richest and Janice de Belen, middle class – are so good in their performances it would be unfair if it is just one or two – or even three – will get nominated for their acting performances in Cinemalaya. It would also be an insult if one or two would be relegated to the supporting category. Direk Joey did not only craft a very good story, he was able to bring out the best in his four stars. Cinemalaya should consider creating a new category like Best Ensemble Acting.

Awards-giving bodies in the US have been practicing this for years; who would start it here?

WORKING NON-STOP. We all know what happened to Jolina Magdangal-Escueta after she got into a freak accident on the stage of GMA’s “Party Pilipinas” three weeks ago. What you don’t know is that she never stopped working.

Immediately after the accident, husband Marc Escueta rushed his wife to the hospital, where her right foot was placed in a cast. Just after a full day of rest, Jolens was discharged and she started working immediately as after all, she’s the busiest of the Kapuso stars.

Jolens immediately taped two episodes of her GMA News TV show, “Personalan: Ang Unang Hakbang,” aired at 7 pm and didn’t skip the taping of her afternoon series, “My Daddy Dearest” with Ogie Alcasid, shown weeknights after “24 Oras.” If that’s not enough, Jolens appeared in the next episode of “Party Pilipinas,” hosting and singing with her foot in a cast.

Wonder if Jolens knows the word rest.
