Actor Aga Muhlach revealed that he wants actress KC Concepcion to be his next leading lady in a movie.

“I’m serious when I mentioned KC's name [during the program]. I really want to work with KC, especially now,” he said in an interview with after Star Awards for Movies ceremonies.

Muhlach said he wants to tap Concepcion’s acting skills after the actress went through a lot in the past year.

“She’s more open now. I want to tap 'yung angst niya ngayon, 'yung dala-dala niya. And I really have a project for her already. I was asking her, let’s start in June. I have a script already,” he said.

Meanwhile, the actor admitted that as he grows older, it becomes harder to come up with movies that audiences would appreciate.

“It gets harder. For projects, what else? Ano pang pwede kong gawing pelikula? Although naghahanda naman ako palagi. I’ll be coming out with a new movie. I’ll make sure na magugustuhan ng tao more than my critics. Pero kung mabigyan man ng pansin, all the better,” he said.

Muhlach was recently given the Best Actor award at the 28th Star Awards for Movies for his acting in “In The Name of Love.”

KC is dating again Posted at 03/14/2012 9:56 PM | Updated as of 03/15/2012 9:52 AM

MANILA, Philippines -- Actress-singer KC Concepcion is back in the dating game.

"I don't know if you would consider it (dating), but I'm meeting people," she told ABS-CBN News during the MYX Music Awards on Tuesday night, where she was among the guest performers.

"Marami akong nakikilalang mababait at mga sincere na tao," she added.

Concepcion grabbed the headlines late last year when she emotionally revealed on "The Buzz" that she had broken up with boyfriend Piolo Pascual.

But since then, Concepcion seemed to have moved on from the episode, appearing in a provocative pictorial for the men's magazine Rogue and wearing a two-piece bikini for the women's magazine Cosmopolitan.

Told that she seems to be blooming these days, the daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion credited it to a fitness program and "a happy heart."

"Wala pa naman special na isang tao pero I think natutunan ko talaga 'yung value ng trabaho ko talaga," she said.

Concepcion has been going around the country for the auditions of ABS-CBN's upcoming reality talent search "The X Factor Philippines," which she will host.

As early as now, Concepcion promised that the TV contest will be exciting.

"We’re trying to see kung sino 'yung makakapasok sa last level of auditions, kasi magsisimula na," she said.

"Kasi maraming levels of auditions 'yun, eh," she explained. "Marami silang pagdadaanan."

Concepcion also said "The X Factor" international producer Simon Cowell, best known for his role as a judge on "American Idol," also has to approve the show's contestants.

"I would love to meet Simon Cowell," she confessed.

But Concepcion stayed mum on the identities of the judges for the Philippine version of the U.K. show. So far, only international singing sensation Charice has been confirmed as the sole female judge on the show, although there have been reports that Martin Nievera will also be one of the judges.

Based on the U.S. version of the talent competition, there will be four judges, who will also act as mentors to the contestants.

"Di pa kami allowed magsabi kung sino yung final judges namin," Concepcion said apologetically. "We've been doing screen tests para sa mga judge. So as you can see hindi lang 'yung mga contestants ang ino-audition." -- Report from Gretchen Fullido, ABS-CBN News
