MANILA, OCTOBER 11, 2011 (MALAYA) From being a promdi to being one of the businessí known concert and recording artist, Vina Morales is proud of what she has become and what she has achieved throughout the years.

Raised and born in Bogo, Cebu, Vina was discovered by Viva Films when she won grand prize and Best Interpreter in the 6th Cebu Pop Music Festival. Despite having second thoughts, she and her family moved to Manila to pursue her singing career. Everything fell into place and with luck and talent, she become one of the most in the demand singers of her generation.

Her own TV show titled "Vina," where she had worked with the late Nida Blanca and Ogie Alcasid, and series of her concert "Showgirl" at the Araneta are only two of the highlights of her career. She continues to tour around the globe for singing stints. She is presently promoting new her album, "Awit ng Ating Buhay," a compilation of teleserye theme songs with three original tracks.

Like other celebrities, she ventured into acting and made her name as the countryís in demand lead actress. After her being known as Mercedes in "Agua Bendita," Vina is now seen as a kontrabida in "Nasaan Ka Elisa?" seen weeknights on ABS-CBNís primetime.

Vina is also an accomplished entrepreneur and she was awarded by Agora Awards last month for the success of her business, Ystilo Beauty Salon. More than anything she does, Vina is a doting mom to her two-year-old daughter Ceana.

As she celebrates her 25th year in the industry, Vina hopes to give back all the blessings to the public, especially to the children of National Childrenís Hospital, in a concert for a cause titled "Silver Party" on October 17 at Republiq, Resorts World Manila.

"Silver Party" is to be directed and choreographed by Georcell Dapat-Sy of G Force with Tats Faustino as musical director. Joining Vina on the stage are Billy Crawford, Erik Santos, Derek Ramsay, Gab Valenciano, Shaina Magdayao and Pops Fernandez. All proceeds will go to the National Childrenís Hospital.
