MANILA, MAY 6, 2011 (MALAYA) ETHEL RAMOS (‘Kung happy ka pala sa marriage, which I am, parang feeling mo kakakasal mo lamang. – Charlene Gonzales’

UNLESS they have a commercial, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales’ twins, Atasha and Andres, considered two of local showbiz’ most popular celebrity kids, are seldom seen.

That’s why, it was a treat, no doubt, especially to Aga and Charlene’s fans, when Atasha sang and Andres played the guitar in the talk program, "The Buzz," which their mom co-hosts every Sunday with Boy Abunda, Toni Gonzaga and KC Concepcion.

The occasion last Sunday was the 37th birthday of Charlene.

Said Charlene: "I know, dahil sinabi ni Boy sa akin, that Aga would be guesting in the show, as part of his and Angel’s (Locsin) promotion for their upcoming movie, ‘In the Name of Love.’

"Boy also told me that our producer tasked him to interview Aga.

"Kaya imagine my surprise when Aga acted as host ng show and interviewed me.

"The appearance of the twins, pati ang pag-perform nila, were, likewise, a big surprise to me.

"Really, I cannot thank my family enough."

On May 28, Aga and Charlene will mark their 10th wedding anniversary.

"Kung happy ka pala sa marriage, which I am, parang feeling mo kakakasal mo lamang," Charlene remarked happily.

Piolo Pascual is back home from a two-month stay in the US.

He performed in several key cities in America. And the rest of his stay, he spent talking to producers, who have probable film projects for him.

In any case, guess what the first thing Piolo did after overcoming his jet lag?

Well, he surprised girlfriend KC Concepcion with a visit while she was having a pictorial for the publicity of her flick with Sam Milby.

Piolo will soon be busy himself, as he is scheduled to do a movie with Angelica Panganiban. Meanwhile, his project with Kim Chiu has been temporarily postponed.

Kim herself has started taping for her new series, "Binondo Girl," co-starring her with three new leading men, Jolo Revilla, Matteo Guidicelli and Xian Lim.

Guess what is next for Marvin Agustin after his successful debut as a concert producer? Marvin brought international singer Bruno Mars in sold-out shows held in Cebu and at the Araneta Coliseum in Manila.

Marvin’s Futuretainment, Inc. will be bringing to town one of the most influential and hottest international bands: the Maroon 5.

The concert is scheduled on May 23 at the SMX.

Marvin expects 8,000-10,000 people to see the band.

Then Miley Cyrus will perform at the Mall of Asia Open Grounds on June 17. The production is also by Futuretainment, Inc.

"Miley excites me," Marvin enthused. "I realized lately how popular the girl is dito sa atin sa Pilipinas. Her name is a byword to so many people her age in the country. At kahit pinakaordinaryong tao knows her songs."

Obviously, there’s no stopping for Marvin, who is now also a successful restaurateur. Do you know that all in all, he owns 12 restaurants?

One of these, SumoSan, which specializes in Japanese-American cuisine, will be opened for franchise. Right now, the restaurant is set to open in five new homes –ABS CBN, Greenbelt 3, Nuvall, Laguna and Abreeza Mall in Davao.

Though successful in non-showbiz endeavors, Marvin has not the least intention of turning his back on his first profession – showbiz –which didn’t only help him become what he is now but will always remain his greatest love.

So far, the cooking show he hosts on GMA 7, "Kitchen Superstar," is getting to be a favorite fare for Filipinos.

The contest is open to aspiring Filipinos chefs who have no professional training.

In September, his movie, "Ikaw ang Pag-Ibig," a special comeback project of director Marilou Diaz Abaya, shall be shown.

Direk Marilou, in real life, is a cancer survivor, just like the character Marvin plays in "Ikaw ang Pag-ibig."

Asked which field he really wants to excel in, Marvin answered: "I just want to be a success in the field, which most men enjoy and aspire for, fatherhood."

Marvin is dad to twin boys Sebastian and Santiago, who, at six years old, are fond of golf.

"Sosyal sila, ‘di ba?" Marvin quipped.
