RYAN & JUDAY: AGONCILLOS ADJUSTING TO EACH OTHER
MANILA, MARCH 11, 2010 (MALAYA) ETHEL RAMOS (After tying the knot with Ryan Agoncillo, Judy Ann Santos has learned to become a homebody, while Judy’s love for TV has rubbed on to Ryan.)
WHEN Juris Fernandez, then simply known as Juris, was first introduced to the recording scene, she was the soloist of the band MYMP (Make Your Mama Proud).
This was not so long ago.
Today, Juris is back and ready to shine on her own.
She now faces the crowd as a solo performer. Yes, she’s ready to step into the spotlight minus a band to support her.
"I don’t assume it’s going to be easy. But I’m accepting the challenge," she said. "I will do my best."
Her first crack as a solo artist was singing the original soundtrack of the Metro Manila Film Festival blockbuster movie, "I Love You … Goodbye," starring Gabby Concepcion, Derek Ramsey and Angelica Panganiban.
The carrier single of her first solo album, "I Don’t Want to Fall," was also featured in "Precious Hearts Romances." Likewise, her own version of "Tamis ng Unang Halik" was the theme song of the top-rating series, "Katorse," which topbilled Erich Gonzales.
Other tracks in her solo album are "Getting Over You," "Opposites Do Attract," "Di Lang Ikaw," "Love Letters," "Dear You," "Kailan Kaya," "Nandiyan Ka Lang Pala," "You Got Me Here," "Beautiful," "Who Was I," "I Don’t Wanna Fall" and "Nariyan Ka."

Both Sam Milby and Anne Curtis revealed that the two of them were really at loggerheads when they shot the first few scenes in their first film together, "Babe, I Love You," that showed them fighting.
"Tuloy," according to Anne, "hangang-hanga sa amin si Direk Mae (Cruz).
"Good take, sabi niya sa amin.
"It was take one."
Their most revealing scenes – the love scenes – still have to be shot. But everyone, they assure, can expect that they will give their best.
They regret though that because the movie will be shown on Black Saturday, there won’t be a premiere.
"Good Friday kasi ang eve ng showing," they explained.

This year, Ryan Agoncillo is certainly busier than ever, especially because he just signed up a new contract with TV5, wherein he is assured of three shows, including, of course, "Talentadong Pinoy," which, as we all know, is the flagship program of TV5.
Ryan’s contract is non-exclusive.
Thus, he can continue to be a co-host of "Eat! Bulaga" and appear in shows even of ABS-CBN that will co-star him with his wife, Judy Ann Santos.
Where his marriage to Judy Ann is concerned, Ryan seems to be adjusting very well.
In an interview, Judy Ann revealed that there are things about Ryan she discovered only when they started living together as husband and wife.
"Dati, gala ako," she said. "Parang I cannot stay put in one place for a long time.
"Kung wala akong ginagawa, I look for something to do to keep me busy. Or I go to a place na hindi sa bahay."
Marriage to Ryan has taught Judy Ann not only to relax but also to spend more time at home.
How about Ryan, what changes has she noticed in him?
"Well, I discovered that he is not fond of watching TV kaya in his room when he was still a bachelor, walang TV set.
"E, ako, my day is never complete without watching TV, especially when I am about to sleep na.
"Now, like me, Ryan is a TV addict," Judy Ann related.

To date, neither Judy Ann nor Ryan has reacted to the rumor that they are expecting a baby.
But we all know, of course, that if there’s one thing in their marriage which they are wishing for, it is to have a little Judy Ann or Ryan in their life.
Meantime, little Yohan, their five-year-old daughter, remains the apple of their eyes.
