GERALD ANDERSON CHEERS  UP  CANCER  PATIENTS ON B-DAY

CALL it mere coincidence but do you know that the male commercial model who plays leading man to Anne Curtis in a current endorsement of hers for a fastfood chain is her former suitor?

The guy’s name is Erwan Heussaff, who is of Fil and French parentage.

A businessman, Erwan is said to be the brother of Derek Ramsey’s former girlfriend.

Derek, as of this writing, is said to have just broken up with Angelica Panganiban.

Why?

We have no idea yet, although talks say that lately Angelica has become jealous prone.

A Hotel Management graduate of the CMH Academy in Paris, France, Erwan was reportedly a boyfriend of Georgina Wilson, who was once linked to Richard Gutierrez.

Come to think of it, wasn’t Richard formerly linked to Anne?

Gerald Anderson turns 21 on March 7.

Instead of a party, Gerald said he wants to spend his birthday with cancer patients.

"Gusto ko silang bigyan ng pag-asa," said Gerald. "Gusto kong malaman nilang may nagmamalasakit at naghahangad na sana’y makaramdam sila ng ginhawa sa kung anumang pain na kanilang tinitiis.

"At may nananalanganing mabigyan sila ng pagkakataong mabuhay pa."

Likewise, as part of his birthday celebration, Gerald will present to his mom the house he promised her.

"Actually, ‘di bago ang bahay," Gerald revealed, "It’s the same house we’ve lived in for years in GenSan.

"Ipinabago ko lang ang façade ng bahay. And instead of a bungalow, ipinagawa kong two stories.

"Binago ko rin ang pintura. At ilan pang bagay sa bahay.

"Kaya kapag ‘di ka pamilyar sa dating bahay, aakalain mong bago ito.

"I know I’ve made my mom happy."

Gerald was born in Angeles and reared by his Filipino mom and American dad.

When his parents separated, his dad brought him and a brother with him to America.

They studied there.

Gerald was on vacation in GenSan when talent manager Jun Reyes spotted him, while he was watching a show where one of the featured stars was Joross Gamboa, then a talent of Jun.

Jun gave Gerald his card and invited him to visit him in his house if he decided to become an actor.

The rest is history.

Recent "Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up" grand winner Melai Cantiveros and boyfriend, second runner-up Jason Francisco, will appear in a series, "Impostor," with Sam Milby and Maja Salvador.

Melai will reportedly have a kissing scene with Sam. Jason will be given the same, well, honor, as he himself will kiss Maja in one scene.

In real life, Jason said Maja is his biggest crush.

"Impostor" will air soon on ABS-CBN.
