RICHARD'S  FAMILY  FAVORS  EX-GF GEORGINA AS HIS LEADING LADY

MANILA, FEBRUARY 3, 2010
(MALAYA) By Mario Bautista (‘Lahat, mas boto kay Georgina, even his twin brother Raymond.’)

WHEN Freddie Aguilar was interviewed in "Startalk," it became apparent that he’s not in good terms with younger sister Marlene Aguilar-Pollard, the mother of his nephew Jason Ivler.

"Marami kaming hindi napagkakasunduan ng kapatid ko kasi ibang-iba ang prinsipyo ko," he says. "Alam niya, matalino siya. She herself tells everyone how brilliant she is. Ipakita niya ngayon ‘yung talino niya sa lahat."

He has not talked to Jason at all. "Hindi ako naniniwala sa mga sinasabi sa akin ng mga kapatid ko. Mas gusto kong marinig sa bunganga ni Jason, then maniniwala ako pag sinabi niya, ‘Tito, ganito.’ But I will have to judge it."

He’s surprised that in spite of the crisis in Marlene’s life, she was still able to do a show in Hobbit House that she even plugged on TV.

"Hindi naman siya singer. ‘Yung pagkanta-kanta niya, ‘di ako approve dyan. ‘Yung pagkanta, iwanan sa talagang singer. Kung katuwaan lang, tatlong kanta, okay, pero to do a full concert na hindi ka naman singer, there must be something wrong."

Richard Gutierrez’ current show, "Full House," has yet to end but GMA-7 is now preparing his next project, the new "Captain Barbell." This time, they want to get Richard’s ex-girlfriend, Georgina Wilson, to be his leading lady and they just might succeed as she has already finished her college studies and has signified her intention that she’s willing to join showbiz. Well, why not Richard’s mom, Annabelle Rama, managing her?

"Naku, namimiligro na si Jewel (Mische)," says one wag who’s referring to Richard’s rumored "girlfriend sa dilim." "Lahat, mas boto kay Georgina, even his twin brother Raymond. Kapag nagkasama uli sina Richard at Georgina in one show, malamang manariwa ang nakaraan nila."

Richard is busy taping "Full House" but he went to Malacanang last Monday morning to cut the ribbon for the Philippine International Arts Festival’s (PIAF) "Ani ng Sining" exhibit, upon the invitation of National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA) for the National Arts Month. He was also chosen by the Department of Education as the PIAF official spokesperson because of his active involvement in projects protecting the environment. His environmental docus for GMA-7, "Signos" and "Planet Philippines," are now being shown in schools.

Guests at the event told Richard they always watch his rom-com, "Full House," and they’re very much entertained by his performance as Justin.

Richard is also happy that the Justice Department has rejected the PEP motion for reconsideration of the libel case he filed against them and it will now go up to the proper courts. "Wala naman talaga akong ginawang panunutok ng baril noon at alam kong lalabas din ang katotohanan," he says.

His new manager Noel Ferrer is a real blessing for Joross Gamboa. Joross is now taping not just one but two new shows on GMA-7. He plays the high school coach of teen stars Joshua Dionisio and Barbie Forteza in "First Time" and he’s paired with Ynna Asistio in the "SRO Cinemaserye" comedy, "Meet the Fathers," with Christopher de Leon and Bayani Agbayani.

"Tama talaga ang desisyon kong lumipat kasi ang last project ko pa sa ABS-CBN was ‘Eva Fonda’ at ‘Your Song,’ na matagal na," he says. "Dito, at least dalawa agad ang shows ko. Reunited ako in ‘First Time’ with Michelle Madrigal, na ka-batch ko noon sa ‘Star Circle Quest’."

The winner in their batch, Hero Angeles, is now also with GMA and, although GMA has given him some breaks, his career failed to take off anew.
