WHAT’S the real score between Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson? This we wanted to know during the presscon of their soon-to-be released flick, "Paano Na Kaya?"

Kim’s reply: "I’m most happy when I’m with him."

Gerald’s answer: "She makes my day. I consider her the most important girl in my life now."

Both, however, would neither confirm nor deny that they are in love. It’s too soon to enter into a serious relationship, they insist. They’d rather take their time.

"Besides, we both feel so blessed with our careers. We are two of the busiest among our fellow young stars. Nakapanghihinayang naman if we don’t give our all to our careers," Gerald continued.

Their team-up in the movie, "Paano Na Kaya?" comes on the heels of their successful series, the top-rated ABS-CBN soap, "Tayong Dalawa."

Guess who is directing "Paano Na Kaya?," which will be released on January 27 and have a premiere on January 26?

At the helm of "Paano Na Kaya?" is "Tayong Dalawa" director Roel Bayani.

Producing the movie is Star Cinema.

Said Direk Roel: "When I was first asked to direct ‘Paano Na Kaya?,’ it was as if they wanted to know if I am capable enough to direct them in a movie after having directed them both in ‘Tayong Dalawa.’

"I accepted the challenge."

So, how was it directing Kim and Gerald on the big screen?

"They are even better," Direk Roel replied. "Mas maganda ang attack nila sa kanilang roles sa pelikula.

"Compared with their roles in ‘Tayong Dalawa,’ more challenging and more mature sila sa ‘Paano Na Kaya?’

"Sa ‘Tayong Dalawa,’ okay, ikinasal sila at nag-honeymoon pa. And they did what is expected of newlyweds.

"Pero, dito sa ‘Paano Na Kaya?’ much more intense ang kanilang mga love scenes.

"They have three kissing scenes. Each kissing scene is more ardent than the last one."

"Paano Na Kaya?" which also stars Melissa Ricks and former "Pinoy Big Brother" (PBB) housemate Robbie is the story of two friends who eventually become lovers, challenging the question of whether romance on the rebound can long endure.

Kim plays Mae, who is madly in love with her best friend, Bogs (Gerald), who is madly in love with Anna (Melissa).

Bogs has never keep secret to Mae that he only considers her as a friend.

But when Bogs and Anna break up, he finds a shoulder to cry on in Mae. Then Anna comes back.

Bugoy Drilon, himself a former housemate, sings the theme song of "Paano Na Kaya?"

"Paano Na Kaya?" will be shown in more than 100 theaters nationwide on January 27.

Since their break up, Shaina Magdayao said she and John Prats have been doing their best to keep their friendship.

She denies that there is a third party involved in their split.

An earlier report said that Denise Laurel was the cause of Shaina and John’s separation.

Shaina said she and John mutually agreed on their separation.

She admits she’s still hurting. But she doesn’t allow this to interfere with her work.

Shaina plays support to Angelica Panganiban in the upcoming series, "Rubi."
