CESAR  OPEN  TO  DOING  SEXY  FLICK

 Pauleen Luna got the shock of her life when she was walking in a mall one day and then an old lady suddenly approached her and slapped her saying: "Ikaw, napakasama mo!" She was taken aback but realized she should be flattered as it means she’s very effective in portraying her villain role in "Ikaw Sana." "The lola was so mad at me dahil sa pang-aapi ko kay Jennylyn Mercado," she says. "I had to explain to her na ginagawa ko lang ang hinihingi ng script and I’m just playing a role."

Pauleen is really convincing as Sofia, especially now that Jennylyn has been released from jail to get her daughter Nina back and Sofia poisons the girl’s mind and tells her not to believe Eliza is her mommy. Eliza is shocked when she learns that Michael (Mark Herras) has remarried, not knowing it’s Sofia who also has given Michael another child. "Diyan nga papasok ang pagiging mas tuso ni Sofia as she’ll do everything to prevent Eliza from seeing Michael again," adds Pauleen. "But Eliza is determined to get her daughter back kaya lalaki ang conflict namin. I’ll ask Michael na mag-abroad but mahahabol kami ni Eliza sa airport."

Jomari Yllana told us on the set of "Rosalinda" that he won’t accept any assignment for a while after playing Alex Durantes in the said soap. "Kasi napasabay ito with my stint in ‘Celebrity Duets Season 3’ kaya nakakapagod talaga," he says. "So I want to rest after doing these two shows na palipat-lipat ako ng taping. Pareho naman silang malapit ng mag-end."

But he won’t really remain idle as he’ll still be busy with his Fearless Productions. They plan to mount the Black Eyed Peas concert in Manila soon and he and partner Ronald Singson will re-organize Channel V Philippines to make it really active in the local music and television scenes.

Meantime, in "Rosalinda," Geoff Eigenmann as Fernando Jose continues to get jealous as Carla Abellana as Rosalinda continues to be close to Jomari. A new twist happens with the arrival of Veronica (Jackielou Blanco) who turns out to be the real mother of Fernando Jose and not Valeria (Sheryl Cruz).

Mhyco Aquino started as a child actor at ABS-CBN who is part of the dance group called Anime. Now 20 years old, he has left ABS-CBN years ago and now comes back in a daring role in the currently showing "I Luv Dreamguyz" as a dancer from Japan who has a Filipina wife (Althea Vega) and a Japanese girlfriend (Mellow Johnson). In one of the film’s hottest scenes, he is shown making love to both women at the same time.

"I Luv Dreamguyz" is a pink film featuring gay love scenes but Mhyco is the one who’s assigned to do a heterosexual love scene that will surely be talked about since his two girl partners also later make love with each other. Why did he agree to do such a sizzling bedscene?

"I really want the public to see that I can now play more mature roles," he says. "I’m no longer a child actor. Kaso lang, people tell me kahit 20 na ako, mukhang totoy pa rin daw ang hitsura ko. Actually, Direk Joel Lamangan was assigning me to do a role na may gay love scene, but I told him hindi ko pa talaga kaya. I’m not closing my doors to it, kasi malay natin, years from now, makaya ko rin. But as of now, pass muna ako diyan."

It is common knowledge that Cesar Montano dreams of portraying Sen. Ninoy Aquino on the big screen. How does he feel that the Aquino Family’s personal choice is said to be Piolo Pascual?

"That’s fine with me," he says. "Ang sa akin, no matter who’d do it, the more important thing is that the movie has to be made for the sake of the younger generation who might forget that we have a great hero in Ninoy Aquino na nagbuwis ng buhay niya for democracy. So kahit sinupang gumawa noon, okay lang, basta magawa yun. Piolo is a friend so kung siya ang papalaring makagawa noon, I’d be happy for him. Anyway, nakagawa na rin naman ako ng movie ng isang hero, si Jose Rizal."

Is it true he’s going to do sexy movie for Viva?

"May offer, parang ‘Full Monty’ ang approach, to be directed by Wenn Deramas. But I want to read the full script first. Kung maganda talaga, I’m willing to do it. Aktor ako, e. As an artist, I don’t want to put myself in just one box as that would be very limiting. I also want to work outside the box, for a change. It’s just like ‘The Singing Bee.’ No one thought I can host a show like that, but I was able to prove na kaya kong gawin yun and it’s now one of the toprated shows on ABS-CBN at nanalo pa akong best game show host. So the new movie offers a similar challenge for me."

An athlete, Cesar is glad that his guests in "Singing Bee" tomorrow night are UAAP and NCAA champions like the San Sebastian Stags basketball team, Mapua track and field team, UP Women’s judo team, Letran chess team and the Perpetual College Altas.
