"We want you to help us encourage our valued Bayo customers to buy my design, as each purchase will go a long way and help feed a hungry child," KC said.

KC, as we all know, is the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) National Ambassador against Hunger. She has been to Mindanao and has seen how many hundreds of children are suffering from hunger in that area due to conflict.

The families of these children have been displaced from their homes and villages, KC said. "And they are really suffering."

Mother Lily Monteverde leaves Tuesday for a three-week cruise that will bring her to Africa.

Will she join a safari?

The cruise is Mother Lily’s gift to herself for her 70th birthday last August 19. As she had earlier decided, she did not have a party. Thus, it was her friends who had parties for her one after the other. The most recent was held at the Little Asia on Morato attended by the top guns of ABS-CBN, like Charo Santos-Concio, president of the Kapamilya, no less. With her, too, were Cory Vidanes and Linggit Tan.

Also there were Malou Santos, managing director of Star Cinema, Manay Ichu Maceda, Pat-P Planas, now with the PR office of Energy Secretary Angelo Reyes, Lawrence Tan, owner of an advertising and talent agency, and talent managers June Rufino, Dolor Guevarra, Shirley Kuan and Girlie Rodis.

A day after begging for her brother Senator Noynoy Aquino not to get married, Kris Aquino was back on TV announcing on her showbiz talk program, "Showbiz News Ngayon," that she will support whatever decision he makes that will make him happy.

She even volunteered to spend for his wedding, in case he decides to finally get hitched.

This is, of course, not the first time that Kris is showering Senator Noynoy with her generosity.

Remember when she proposed to have the Aquino home on Times Street in Quezon City knocked down, as per the advice of a feng shui expert?

Kris said she wanted a house for her and her family built on the property. And should Senator Noynoy decide too have a wing of his own built in the property, she is willing to spend for its construction.

Earlier, we also heard that Kris voluntarily refused to share in the inheritance left to her and her siblings by her mom, President Cory Aquino. She reportedly reasoned that she already has enough savings for her and her family.

That’s why daw (daw, ha) Kris’ Ate Ballsy suggested that they put Kris’ share in a trust fund for Kris’ two boys.

Kris just left with husband James Yap, their kids, Joshua and Baby James, for an 18-day trip in the US.

One of their first destinations is Florida, where Kris promised her sons a visit to Disneyland.

They will also go to the original Disneyland in California, she said in an interview.

This is the first time that all four are together in a trip outside the country.
