BORACAY INTERNATIONAL MODEL COMPETITION

Boracay Island, May 20, 2003 -- The island paradise of Boracay in Malay, 
Aklan will play host to the first FOLIO 2003: The Boracay International 
Model Competition on May 24. Thirty stunning and gorgeous male and female 
Filipino models will compete in the contest which will be held at the 
beachfront of Boracay Bar and Restaurant.

The candidates were recently presented to the members of the press in a 
fashion show held at the Club 5 The Ultimate Bar at Mile Long Compound in 
Makati City.

Keith P. Serrano, president of Folio Manila, announced that the winners 
would have the chance to represent the Philippines in the prestigious 
International Male and Female Model Competition to be held in the Caribbean 
Islands of Aruba and Curacao on October and November aside from the cash 
prizes and modeling contracts at stake worth P100,000.00

"Through this competition, we aspire to open doors of opportunities to 
promising local talents in the international modeling arena. We believe 
that many of our models here have the looks, character, and flair that 
would make them stand out abroad," Serrano said.

The female candidates are: Paulette Quinto, Geraldine Zamora, Ma. Christina 
Jimenez, Ruth Tanqueco, Sharlene Ferrer, Zarah Jane Gomez, Charisse 
Ocrisma, Lea Avellaneda, GJ Diane Abuel, Debbie Blackwell, Trish Paggabao, 
Claudine Villanueva, Menchu Obongen, Celeste Celis, and Rachelle Andralde.

Meanwhile, the male candidates are: Gerald Dizon, Ryan Dale Dorin, Guiness 
Nabung, Warly Aggalut, Paolo Inocencio, Verlyn Hizon, McMiel Dennison, Edil 
Aviso, James Villanueva, Ryan Mendoza, Alvin Yabut, and Relly Bucu.

The public will have a chance to take a closer look at these vigorous and 
well-built male and female models as they raid selected bars in Boracay 
from May 20-22.
