WordComm LAUNCHES CUTTING-EDGE CAMPAIGN, ELECTION SOFTWARE
MANILA, NOVEMBER 28, 2003 (STAR) Leading political communications consultants WordComm, Inc. recently launched a cutting-edge software designed to efficiently manage campaign organization, funds, vote-projection, poll issues, quick count and messaging.
WordComm president and CEO Ed Javier said the software, specifically designed for next year’s election, "will give a candidate a big edge over his or her rivals since the management of time, human, material and communication resources has been radically simplified by technology".
The software reduces the usually complex and chaotic campaign war room operation into a single desktop or laptop operation, Javier added.
The software, called C3 Locale, automated the major components of local campaign management. Javier said the technology will help candidates optimize their budgets, mobilize according to vote projection and obtain quicker and more accurate count on election day.
Javier said C3 Locale also integrated the technologies of short message service and phone banking. He said the software enables campaign managers to tap the advantages of text messaging to the fullest, and "does away with the need for physical funds distribution since budgetary requirements can be facilitated by the software through electronic transfer via automated teller machines".
Javier said the software runs on a geographic information system (GIS) platform, a system that uses the map representation of the geographic area of a candidate’s constituency.
The software comes with built-in demographicc data, including number of households and voters in a given locality. The built-in data serves the campaign organization time and money, Javier said.
Javier said the C3 Locale software is available in versions for national, provincial, congressional and local campaign requirements.
