AMA TOPS SWS SURVEY

-- The Social Weather Stations or SWS has released the
result of its First Quarter 2003 Social Weather Survey. The research, which
was conducted nationwide from March 10-25 with 1,200 respondents, examined
how Filipinos perceive IT educational institutions in the country.

And among various IT schools in the country, which included top
universities and colleges, including the University of the Philippines,
Ateneo, La Salle, UST, Informatics, STI, and Mapua, AMA Educational System
(AMAES) topped the survey as the most recommended computer school.

Those who ranked AMA as the number one computer school cited four reasons
for choosing AMA. They said that aside from being the most popular IT
educational institution in the country, it is also the first IT university
in Asia.

Second, the school is known for its top caliber teaching staff and
exceptionally high-quality IT curriculum.

Third, AMA, in their opinion, has the most modern, complete facilities and
advanced technology.

  And fourth, its graduates are perceived to have a much easier time
landing jobs. Other reasons cited were affordable tuition fees, global
affiliation with IT industry giants, accessible branches nationwide.

These were the reasons cited by the majority of respondents (56%) who said
they will recommend AMA to family and friends.
