UST GRADUATE TOPS BAR EXAMS
Manila, March 1, 2003 -- Arlene M. Maneja, a graduate of the University of Sto. Tomas, topped the 2002 bar examinations with a grade of 92.9.
Coming in second was Connie G. Chua of the Ateneo de Manila University with 90.4.
In third was Eric Ricalde of San Beda College with 90.3.

Joel Emerson J. Gregorio, Ateneo de Manila University 89.1.
Rex S. Austria, San Beda College, 89.05.
George O. Ortha, II, San Beda College, 89.
Joseph Lyle K. Sarmiento, Ateneo de Manila University 88.75.
Cheloy Garafil, Malaya justice beat reporter, was one of those who passed.
This year's passing rate of 19.68 percent (917 out of 4,659) is one of the lowest in recent history.
The 2002 bar committee was headed by SC Associate Justice Vicente Mendoza.
