AMERICAN TOURIST DIES AFTER SEX WITH 'CALL GIRL'
Ermita, Metro Manila, March 25, 2002 (STAR) An American tourist died of a heart attack shortly after he had sex with an alleged prostitute in his hotel room in Ermita, Manila on Saturday. The victim, Robert Giles, 53, failed to make it to the hospital after suffering cardiopulmunary arrest, according to Dr. Daniel Surisantos after he examined the victimís body.
Anita Allegre, vice consul of the US Embassy took Gilesí belongings, including his passport and cash for safekeeping. Gilesí female companion, Maricel Recreo, told SPO1 Diomedes Labarda that she met Giles in Ermita and he later brought her to his hotel room where they had sex. Recreo said she initially resisted intercourse with the foreigner because of her period but he insisted. After the sexual act, the foreigner started taking photographs of the girl, who was still nude, which apparently gave him "extreme happiness," according to Labarda. The foreigner suddenly fainted, prompting Recreo to call for assistance.
Hotel personnel told police that Giles checked in on Saturday for a one day stay because he was supposed to leave yesterday for Angeles City. Ė Cecille Suerte Felipe
