Manila, Aug. 7, 2000 - The First Manila Grand Garden Fesitval will be held on August 7 to 20 at the Old Manila Atrium, Robinson's Place in Ermita, Manila.

Organized by Tradenet International, the participants include landscapers, orchid growers and ornamental plant nursery operators.

There will be landscaped exhibits, various plant arts such as bonsai, dish gardens, tray landscapes and terrariums.

Also available will be local as well as imported orchids and assorted ornamentals, including palms, ferns, water plants, dracaenas, cacti and other succulents.

There will also be potted flowering plants such as African violets, chrysanthemums, impatiens, vincas, begonias and bromeliads.

Culinary herbs will also available, including sweet basil, French tarragon, mints, oregano, rosemary and kutsay among others. Fertilizers, pots, vases and other garden tools and accessories will also be on sale.
