P6-B FOR BATANGAS-BATAAN RESORTS
Manila, June 24, 2000 - Landco Pacific Corp. has announced that it will invest P6 billion to develop two high-end residential resorts in Batangas and Bataan.
The Costa Madera and Batulao Woodlands will be completed in eight to 10 years.
Costa Madera is 360-hectare beachfront property in San Juan and is only two-hours ride from Manila. Alfred Xerex-Burgos, Jr. president and chief executive officer of Landco Pacific said Madera will be launched early next year.
Batulao Woodlands is a 1,080-hectare mountain side resort in Balanga, Bataan. It will feature zoo, safari, golf course, picnic groves, resorts, hotel among others.
Landco started in 1990 as a real estate consultancy firm, then inn 1994 it entered real estate Development with its first project, Canyon Woods in Tagaytay. The success of Canyon Woods inspired Landco to venture on high -end beach resorts with the 88-hectare Peninsula de Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Metro Pacific Corp. president and CEO Ricardo Pascua said that together with Landco, "it is committed to transform land into a high-quality development that create superior value, enhance lifestyles, and preserve the environment.
