CESAR WEDS SUNSHINE IN CHURCH ON SEPT. 14

Quezon City, April 17, 2000 Actress Sunshine Cruz will be wearing an Eric Pineda gown when she says “I do” on September 14, the day she and award-winning actor Cesar Montano get married in church.

In several recent interviews, Sunshine, 22, said she and Cesar, 37, want to have a child soon after their wedding.

"Otherwise," joked Sunshine, "if we delay our having a child, Cesar said that baka naman the moment nag-debut ang anak namin, baka raw naka-tungkod na siya."

The newly-weds will fly to Hawaii immediately after the wedding for their honeymoon.

Sunshine is still adjusting to being stepmother to Cesar's two children by his late wife. She reportedly gets along fine with Angelo, and is making big progress with Angela, who is only five years younger than Sunshine.

"Eventually," said Sunshine, "I'm sure magiging mag-ka-barkada kami ni Angela."

Sunshine, of course, is following the footsteps of her cousin Donna in putting family before career. She has announced that she’s going to lie low for a while after the wedding, to concentrate of being a wife and stepmother, and work hard at becoming a mother herself.
