ROBIN: NEW KID, NEW FILMS, NEW COLLEGE SKED

Quezon City, Feb. 19, 2000 The second-year Criminology students at the Philippine College of Criminology in Raon, Quiapo, miss the daily presence of their classmate Robin Padilla, who used to religiously attend classes. Often Robin would go straight to class from location shooting.

“Pero ngayon, I go to school twice a week only, because the other requirements are covered by modules which I study and finish at home,” said the Philippine cinema’s original ‘Bad Boy’ and former inmate of the National Penitentiary.

Robin has just finished work on “Tunay na Tunay, Get Mo, Gets Ko” co-starring Jolina Magdangal.

He is also wrapping up work on a film that teams him up with former real-life sweetheart Vina Morales, produced by Millennium Films.

By March 5, Robin starts shooting for a Viva Films project that teams him up with Regine Velasquez for the first time.

The best Christmas gift for Robin was an Australian visa, which allowed him to spend Christmas and New Year with his wife Liezl and their three daughters. His conviction had stood in the way of the approval in the past.

And although he stayed with Liezl for only a couple of weeks, it was definitely “quality time” because the news is that Liezl is pregnant again.

Robin Padilla is definitely on a roll again.
