YANKEE IN INTERNET PORNO NABBED IN CEBU

Cebu City, Feb. 18, 2000 - An American has been arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in Cebu, for taking nude photographs of minors andpublishing them on the Internet.

Nabbed was retired airline pilot Perry McNeely, 59 years old, and temporary billeted at Room 105, La Guardia Hotel and Room 1322 Metro Park, Lahug City, Cebu.

NBI Regional Director Ramon J. Dayungco said McNeely was engaged in the exploitation of young children in Cebu City. Investigation showed that McNeely started by befriending minors and inviting them to a mall. Later, he asked them to stay in his rented rooms at La Guardia and Metro Park.

As he gained the confidence of the minors, McNeely would persuade them to pose for photographs, either in the nude or in swimwear which he provided.

In return, the suspect would give them money in the guise of an allowance or gift.

After the Cebu City Regional Trial issued a warrant, the agents raided McNeely’s rooms, where they found lewd photographs of Filipino minors, women’s underwear, cameras, vibrator, filled application forms of those who wanted to have foreign pen pals, letters of Filipina women, application forms and photographs published by McNeely on the Internet.
