KUH W/ THE PLATTERS IN VALENTINE CONCERT TOUR
Manila, Jan. 28, 2000 - Zola Taylor's The Platters join Kuh Ledesma to perform love songs, from the '50s to the '90s in one “Unforgettable Valentine” national tour.
Zola Taylor's The Platters, composed of Latif Shadi, BJ Mitchell, Larry Hicks and Valena Brown are back in town after their successful series of shows last year. Unforgettable Valentine features The Platters in back to back performances with Kuh Ledesma on Feb. 12 at The PICC Plenary Hall and Feb. 14 at The Grand Plaza Ballroom of The Westin Philippine Plaza.
The Platters and Kuh will also serenade Davao on Feb. 17, Cebu on Feb. 19 and Bacolod on Feb. 22. The Platters will also render solo performances in Cagayan De Oro, Ormoc, Iloilo, Clark Field and Subic.
Among the hits of the show are Twilight Time, Only You, The Great Pretender, My Prayers, Dahil Sa Iyo, You Are My Song and Matud Nila from The Platters. Kuh sings her own hits Dito Ba, Bulaklak, A Long Long Time Ago, Betcha By Golly Wow, This One's For You and the other songs from her gold albums.
