ROSEMARIE RETURNING BRIEFLY TO SIGN HOUSE SALE

Manila, Nov. 13, 1998 - Former Sampaguita Pictures star Rosemarie Sonora is scheduled for a brief homecoming once ex-husband Ricky Belmonte is ready with a buyer for the house they once called home.

Dramatic actor Belmonte reportedly has a serious prospect offering P18 million for the Valle Verde home where the once-ideal married couple raised their kids, who themselves now live elsewhere.

Ricky explained that the house is considered conjugal property and therefore could only be sold with the signature and consent of both Ricky and Rosemarie.

Rosemarie left the Philippines many years ago, and is now settled in Antioch, California, U.S.A., where she is a professional in the beauty business. It is the same community where their daughter Sheryl lives.

The younger sister of movie queen Susan Roces (Mrs. Fernando Poe, Jr.) is married to an American who used to be with the US military. Youngest son Patrick, who very recently left Dad Ricky, is now with Rosemarie and has been influenced by his stepfather to enroll in a military school.

Patrick, who left what could be a promising show business career in the Philippines, is happy with his life in the US, even working part-time in a grocery store.

And Ricky? Now that he is all alone, he told friends he wants to start anew.

Walking around in an empty home which used to reverberate with children's laughter, Ricky Belmonte finds solace in work: TV guestings, movies.
