ROSANNA, KUH, ARIEL JAM WITH AI-AI

Manila, Oct. 25, 1998 - Comedienne Ai Ai de las Alas will have a full cast of super stars on stage, jamming with her on her birthday-cum-anniversary concert at the Folk Arts Theater.

It is a tribute to her warm friendship and close relationship with movie and TV stars that Ai Ai will get the support of Rosanna Roces, Kuh Ledesma, Rustom Padilla, Arnell Ignacio, Allan K., Randy Santiago, Dessa, Ariel Rivera, April Boy Regino, Ogie Alcasid at the Streetboys.

But on the evening of November 21, when the concert begins, Ai Ai will be scanning the front row seats looking for her idol and special guest of honor, Lipa City Mayor Vilma Santos Recto.

Ai Ai says her birthday will really be complete if the Star for all Seasons attends her special concert. She sent a special invitation to Mayor Vi and tells one and all that Vilma's attendance is her special birthday wish.

Why "Respect Me" as the title of her concert?

"Because I am an artist and a mother. We all come from a mother, don't we? As an artist and a mother, I want respect," Ai Ai explained.

She will do stand-up comedy, sing eight songs, dance ballet like a ballerina, and fly like Darna.

Another super number is a sexy spiel with Rosanna Roces, and a musical act with several macho dancers.

She claims that a small honorarium and a lot of love are all her guests get for appearing in her concert.
