GARY ESTRADA'S UNREQUITED LOVE

Manila, Sept. 16, 1998 - Gary Estrada's colorful love life disappeared from gossip columns after his much-publicized break-up with Donita Rose. No more serious relationships or even courtship for Gary after that serious affair, although there was almost a romance with Aiko, which did not prosper.

Gary's son by actress Cheska Diaz is now of school age. And Cheska is happily married to Carlos Morales, with whom she has a baby.

Enter Ara Mina, one of the hottest actresses in the current spate of bold movies.

Gary has confessed to friends that he is not just attracted to Ara; he is in love with the pretty actress.

There is just one big problem: Ara Mina, at 19, thinks she is too young to get involved in a serious relationship which could stand in the way of her blossoming career.

Ara is presently still riding high after the blockbuster SAGAD SA INIT and the critical acclaim for her forthcoming movie TATLO .. MAGKASALO, which explores lesbianism and stars her with Rita Avila and Tonton Gutierrez.

Ara Mina, friends say, learned her lesson when she was just starting in the movies. Her boyfriend was against her bold roles, resulting in frequent quarrels which hampered her emotionally. She chose to break up with him, choosing career over love.

The ball, as they say, is in Gary's court. Or shall we say it's in his courtship.
