"LABS KITA" SONGS TOP CHARTS

Manila, Sept. 4, 1998 - TWO new songs from the original soundtrack of Star Cinema's box-office hit (it made a cool P5 million on opening day) "LABS KITA... OK KA LANG?" starring Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin are enjoying good airplay on raido stations nationwide.

Fast-rising to the top slot in every FM station's hit list is the song "Nanghihinayang," performed by the new all-male group JEREMIAH(consists of Olan Crizaldo, Glen Gonzales, Al Nievera, Pewee Polintan and Froilan Calixto).

The song recently made it to the 5th spot of 93.9 DWKC's Top 20 weekly countdown, No. 2 in 89.1 DMZ's daily countdown and number 1 in 109.1 DWRR. Aside from FM stations in Metro Manila, "Nanghihinayang," arranged by Dennis Quila and composed by Larry Hermoso, is also dominating the airwaves in key cities of almost all the provinces in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Another hit song from the movie's soundtrack is "Kapag Ako'y Nagmahal" by Jolina Magdangal. Composed by Larry Hermoso and arranged by Alvin Nunez, the song is a strong follow-up to the position of Jeremiah's "Nanghihinayang".

Now available in casette and CD format at leading record bars, the "Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang" soundtrack has ten songs with a bonus cut on the CD. The Other cuts include "Hindi Kita Puwedeng Mahalin" and "First Time" by Girltalk, "Girl of My Dreams" by Jeremiah, "Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita" by 92 A.D., "Sa Ilalim ng Puno ng Sayote" by Blusero band, Tignang Mo Naman Ako" and "Kanino Ba?" by Jolima Magdangal.

Released by Star Records, the movie soundtrack is produced by Larry Hermoso with Buddy Medina as executive producer and Rene Salta as A&R supervisor.
