SHARON'S SECRET BOSTON COLLEGE LIFE

Manila, Aug. 3, 1998 - Now it can be told: Sharon had a deep, deep secret all the time she was in Boston while husband Attorney Francis Pangilinan was finishing a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. Francis majored in Strategic Management and ended his school year with an overall 'A' average.

And what did the Megastar do all this time? Learn to cook, drive, shop for food in supermarkets; manage a household without butlers, yayas and maids. Shoot a commercial or two for a US hamburger chain. Get pregnant, lose a baby, get pregnant again.

But that's not all, folks. Ms. Sharon Cuneta did much, much more than that, and no one knew until the Pangilinans returned to the Philippines last week.

Sharon's big secret? She went back to school.

Yes, Mrs. Sharon Cuneta Pangilinan was a freshman student at the Boston College, taking up Business Administration. She even received good grades, especially in literature.

"I kind of kept it a secret from everyone that I went back to school and it helped that I was away from the pressure," Sharon narrates. "I would really like to finish college. I don't care if it takes me ten or twenty years to get a college degree."

Now that she's back in Manila, her pregnant-mom cravings for Santol and Taho are no longer difficult to find, unlike in Boston where her cravings went unfulfilled, much to her husband's chagrin.

Only one hitch: Francis told a TV interviewer that Sharon will probably not be making any movies until after her baby is born. It is a sensitive, difficult pregnancy and the doctors have advised her to stay calm and not be too active.
