STRICT RULES FOR ARIEL-REGINE CONCERT

Manila, July 26, 1998 - Jim Brickman is coming to Manila for an August 29 show, but that is not the big news in today's showbiz grapevines; rather, it is who will be on stage with Brickman.

Brickman will be sharing the limelight with two local personalities who share a very colorful past, two former lovebirds who will be together on August 29 after years of separation: Ariel Rivera and Regine Velasquez.

Flashback: Ariel was with Gelli, met Regine, left Gelli, romanced Regine, went back to Gelli, married Gelli.

Now, Gelli is three months pregnant with their first child, and is apparently going to see that the past does not repeat itself.

When Ariel and Regine perform at the Jim Brickman concert, there are not supposed to sign together. If they are prevailed upon to sing together, they are not supposed to appear romantic. No touching.

There is no word yet if Gelli will be quite up to watching the show. Gelli and Ariel are currently in Canada vacationing with Ariel's family.
