VINA SERIOUS ABOUT CONGRESSMAN BEAU

Manila, July 6, 1998 - The cat is out of the bag, let out willingly by Vina Morales herself.

Malaya's Ethel Ramos reveals that Vina Morales confesses to being very much in love with newly- elected Bukidnon Congressman Miguel Zubiri, who took the place in Congress of his father who, as three-termer, was barred from seeking re-election.

"Mabait siya," Vina describes the solon. "During the campaign period, we were merely friends and I volunteered to help him. But he did not bother me even once to campaign for him."

Vina's parents apparently like the young congressman a lot, reports Ethel.

The actress says its because "magalang siya sa kanila. From the way he carries himself, you know he comes from a good family. I feel so truly proud of him."

Wedding bells are still in the distant horizon, Vina claims. "A lot can still happen in my career."

Although she's not busy with an film project, television keeps her in the public eye. "I am now a regular host of GMA's Sobrang Okey Pare, and I have to devote a one-day rehearsal for my dance number every week."

One thing Vina is sure of is that she will never do bold movies. "I'll probably go sexy, but definitely not very bold roles."

Ethel writes that "a would-be politician's wife would not dare do something, or anything, which she would regret in the end."
