ALASKA HAS NEW IMPORT
Pasay City, June 2, 1998 - Alaska Milk will try out its latest import when it plays Ginebra San Miguel in a rematch of last year's PBA Commissioner's Cup finals at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Devin Davis is the the all-time leading scorer of the University of Miami, where he graduated in 1997. He flew in fresh from a stint with the team Monte Huelva in the CAB league in Spain. He also played for the Idaho Stampede.
Alaska hopes to sustain the big start it made with interim import Sean Chambers.
The Milkmen breezed through three victories with Chambers but Alaska management decided the team is better off with Davis, who is much taller than Chambers.
