DAYANARA ON AGA: THE LOVE'S STILL THERE
Manila, June 10, 1998 - Former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres gives romantic fans hope of a renewal of her relationship with erstwhile beau Aga Muhlach.
Arriving in Manila for last week for a two-month working visit, she's rushing to finish a Star Cinema movie with Cesar Montano, launch her album "Antifaz" which is a big hit worldwide, and perhaps stage a concert to show Filipinos how much she's learned from them.
"Having an album was always my dream. If it weren't for the Philippines, I would not have had the best practice in the world... that is, to be part of A.S.A.P."
She is now open to negotiating projects, because her manager Heather Rasch, her lawyer and record producer flew in with her. She's also shooting a music video in top-notch, ritzy El Nido, Palawan.
Immediate noticed by welcomers is her new look: a few more pounds, longer hair, purple hair, mellower but more sultry make-up.
Asked about Aga Muhlach, Yari revealed her inner feelings. "Things happen for a reason. We are not fighting and we are not against each other, as we live our own lives and as we fulfill our own dreams. Even if we are no longer together, the love is still there. "
