NORA AUNOR AS ERAP'S AMBASSADOR?
Manila, June 4, 1998 - Showbiz superstar Nora Aunor is reportedly being considered for the job of ambassador of goodwill by the Estrada administration.
Ms. Aunor may be asked to organize shows and projects for overseas workers, a role she may find meaningful especially because she once played the lead role in the controversial movie, The Flor Cotemplacion Story, the story of a Filipina maid who was hanged in Singapore. The movie reverberated across the world's circles of Filipina overseas workers, making Nora the "living symbol" of the plight of the overseas Filipino workers, especially the domestic workers.
