DAYANARA CONCERTS, MOVIE WITH CESAR THIS MONTH

Manila, June 2, 1998 - Former international beauty queen Dayanara Torres was expected to arrive in Manila June 3 for concerts and to fulfill her movie contract with Star Cinema.

For at least 6 weeks, Dayanara will be in the Philippines, busy with the Asian launch of her hit album, which landed on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks.

Fan magazines now describe Dayanara as "the most desirable woman in Puerto Rico" and also one of the most popular figures in the entire Spanish-speaking world.

Dayanara has changed her look. She's gained a few pounds and no longer looks anorexic. She's let her short, dark bob to grow, now tinted auburn with streaks of red. Even her make up is less dramatic, more sensuous, leaning on subtlety rather than sharp contrasts.

Her Star Cinema movie will see her co-starring opposite Cesar Montano.

It has been 9 months since she left the Philippines and her unsuspecting boyfriend Aga Muhlach, who had no inkling that she had packed her bags for good. Aga went and visited Dayanara and her family in Puerto Rico recently, just to hear it from her personally.

Movie scribes, as well as fans, are now asking: "Will there be a rekindling of old flames when Aga and Yari see each other again in Manila?"
