CENTENNIAL AIR SHOW AT CLARK ZONE
Clark Field, May 30, 1998 - A spectacular air show will steal the limelight from Pinatubo from June 9 to 11, as ace pilots of the Blue Diamonds and Red Aces teams of the Philippine Air Force perform death-defying air maneuvers.
Clark president Romeo David said the air show will also feature a mass skyjump, general aviation flyby, aircraft exhibits and aero modelling displays.
Public participation and attendance is expected to swell during the kite flying activities and the grand fireworks display.
The show will be held at the Air Force Grounds, within the Clark International Airport area which has been a regular venue for the annual international hot air balloon competition.
The Clark aviation complex is now a booming business hub for local and foreign investors whose interests range from aviation to electronics. About 35 local and foreign investors have located within the Clark Aviation area, with businesses ranging from cargo to fuelling services.
