TRYOUTS FOR NATIONAL GOLF POOL MAY 19-29
Manila, May 15, 1998 - The National Golf Association of the Philippines will conduct two-phase eliminations for the national training pool from May 19 to 29.
The first phase kicks off at the Canlubang Golf and Country Club in Laguna on May 19-22, then moves over to the Valley Golf and Country Club in Antipolo for the second and final leg on May 26-29.
The top eight players to emerge from the eliminations will comprise the national training pool for 1998-2000.
Among the benefits of the training pool members are training allowances and golf supplies.
Only male players aged under 30 years and with handicaps of four and below are eligible to join the eliminations.
