RUFFA'S FOUNDATION TO HOUSE STREET CHILDREN

Manila, May 31, 1998 - Actress and international beauty titlist Ruffa Gutierrez will launch the Roof-A-Child Foundation Tuesday, June 2, a good 22 days before her 23rd birthday.

"I have always wanted to serve the poor," says Ruffa, who donated her prize money as 1993 Miss World Second Princess to a South African education program for children.

Under her foundation, Ruffa and her family and friends plan to provide shelter for homeless children. Her plan is to build a structure that could house as many street kids as her foundation's funds can afford.

To this end, Ruffa is wiling to go on a fund-raising campaign among friends, fans and admirers. Her project has the total support of mom Annabel Rama and dad Eddie Gutierrez.
