ZSA ZSA, DOLPHY WANT MORE KIDS
Manila, May 17, 1998 - Zsa Zsa Padilla won all the best acting awards, except FAMAS, for her portrayal of a displaced Olongapo dancer in "Batang PX" but all the trophies merely make her ardently wish for another achievement: a baby for current love Dolphy.
The award-winning singer and actress has a 17-year-old daughter, Kaye, by her estranged dentist- husband. She and Dolphy have five-year-old Nicole.
But getting pregnant is not that easy for Zsa Zsa. "I only have one Fallopian tube working," said Zsa Zsa. "Another complication is the medication Dolphy needs to take for his heart due to the angioplasty he underwent in the States."
The couple will not give up. The US-based doctor told Dolphy: "You could have a baby, why not? But later on, not right now."
Zsa Zsa can hardly wait to hear the doctor tell them when that "later on" could be.
She and Dolphy want to have a Dragon Baby, because they are both Dragons themselves. So they've set a deadline.
"If I get pregnant by May next year, it means I'll be giving birth in the Year 2000 which is a Dragon Year," the singer says. "And Dolphy does not need the new drug Viagra to achieve that, I assure you."
Meanwhile, the loving duo appear in the spoof "Tataynic" produced by RVQ. The movie, as the title implies, spoofs the gigantic movie hit "Titanic" which raked in more money in the Philippines than any other film in history.
