GARY VALENCIANO TO PERFORM IN RENO

Manila, May 13, 1998 - One of the most dynamic Filipino entertainers, Gary Valenciano, is performing in Reno, Nevada later this month.

Carmen Hernandez, California-based columnist of the Philippine Star, reports that for most Filipinos in California, Gary continues to be the most popular male entertainer from the home country.

Hernandez announced in her column that on Saturday, May 23, many Bay Area Filipino-American families will be driving up to Reno not only to gamble but also to watch Gary V's "Super Concert Live....In Reno."

The concert will be held at the Lawler Events Center at the University of Nevada. Three big hotel casinos -- Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus -- are sponsoring Valenciano's show.

Tickets cost from $16 to $60, and special guests performing with Gary V are Mary Ann Casal, Judith Banal, the Manoeuvers and the Powerplay Band.
