46TH FAMAS AWARDEES

Manila, May 5, 1998 - There were few stars around for the 46th FAMAS Awards Night; most of the biggest names in Philippine entertainment were out campaigning for their presidential candidates or for themselves. Here is a list of the awardees.

Best Picture -- Rizal sa Dapitan
Best Director -- Tikoy Aguiluz (Rizal)
Best Actress -- Maricel Soriano (Nasaan ang Puso?)
Best Actor -- Phillip Salvador (Parak)
Best Supporting Actress -- Isabel Granada (Ligaya ang Itawag Mo sa Akin)
Best Supporting Actor -- Herbert Bautista (Parak)
Best Child Actress -- Lorena Garcia (Calvento Files The Movie)
Best Child Actor -- Tom Taus (Lahar)
Best Screenplay -- Jose Lacaba (Rizal)
