DOT LAUNCHES IFUGAO PACKAGE TOURS
Manila, April 14, 1998 - The Department of Tourism, through its marketing arms the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation (PCVC) has launched a series of package tours to the Ifugao Rice Terraces. The tours, in collaboration with selected tour operators, are for the April- May peak season.
The package is for four days and three nights, and offers a unique mountain adventure, inclusive of meals and lodging, for only P6,500 per person.
President Ramos himself launched the "Dattun Di Boltan" (Alay Sa Pamana) program in Lagawe, Ifugao.
The tour schedules are: April 23 to 25, April 30 to May 3, May 7 to 10 and May 14 to 17.
