BOLD ROLES CAUSE NINO-YNEZ BREAKUP

Manila, April 24, 1998 - Nino Muhlach's romance with Ynez Veneracion is over. The culprit? Bold movies.

During the press conference of "Buhawi ni Jack" by Regal Films, Nino admitted that the relationship did not have much of a chance to last because he could not stand Ynez accepting bold roles.

"I would understand it if that's all she can do, but I believe she has talent, she is a good actress and should therefore hold off for better roles," Nino said.

Nino told members of the press that he had moved all his personal belongings from Ynez' apartment in Paranaque and had taken back the van he lent her during the three months they were together.

He laid the blame on Ynez for being unwilling to stop accepting bold roles.

Ynez, meanwhile, has just landed the biggest role of her career -- the title role in "Dama de Noche" which was originally meant for Rosanna Roces.
