SHARON HOME TO CAMPAIGN FOR MOM AND BROD

Pasay City, April 17, 1998 - Megastar Sharon Cuneta flew in from Boston Thursday morning to help in the election campaigns of her mother and brother.

"I'm here as a dutiful daughter and sister, and also to be with my Dad," Sharon told TV reporters at the NAIA upon her arrival.

Wearing very casual sweatshirt over jeans, Sharon confessed that she's "already missing KC and Kiko" because she considers her husband Francis Pangilinan her best friend who should always be by her side.

She refused to discuss her recent miscarriage. "How do you expect someone to feel?" she asked the reporters.

Mrs. Elaine Cuneta is running to be Pasay City's Representative in Congress, while Sharon's brother Chet is running for Councilor of Pasay.

Sharon said she can only stay in the Philippines for a few days, because she has to return to the United States to fulfill her commitments, such as concerts in the US mainland, Canada, and In London.

With Francis graduating soon, Sharon promised that her entire family will be back in the Philippines "for good, permanently" in July or August.
