ERIC AND TONTON AS REEL GAY LOVERS

Manila, April 17, 1998 - After two successful gay-themed movies -- "Ang Lalaki sa Buhay ni Selya" and "Miguel/Michelle" -- comes another movie about homosexual men which promises to be a box office hit.

"Pusong Mamon" stars Eric Quizon and Tonton Gutierrez as a pair of live-in gay lovers in a movie directed by Joel Lamangan.

In the movie, one of them gets drunk and has a one night stand with Lorna Tolentino, who gets pregnant.

The two gay lovers decide to find a straight man who would marry Lorna and raise the child as his own. The short role of the straight man Lorna marries is being offered to Lorna Tolentino's real-life husband, action star Rudy Fernandez.

Eric and Tonton, meantime, are not giving the gay roles a second thought. "It's only a role. We have nothing to hide," they say in unison.
