JUDY ANN'S VIVA FILMS SNAGGED BY REGAL CONTRACT

Manila, April 16, 1998 - Movie writer Mario Bautista reports that Regal boss Mother Lily Monteverde is raving mad over the two-picture contract Judy Ann Santos signed with Viva Films.

A Regal insider quoted by Bautista said Judy Ann has an exclusive contract with Regal. "Mother Lily was just being nice to manager Alfie Lorenzo when she allowed Judy Ann to appear in Star Cinema and Premiere Productions projects, but this Viva contract has really made her angry."

Alfie Lorenzo, manager of the actress, does not seem bothered by the contract problem.

"Regal has not been giving Judy Ann any project, so it is only fair that she should sign up with other producers," said defender of Lorenzo.
