ROBIN-ROSANNA BLOCKBUSTER BY VIVA FILMS

Quezon City, April 13, 1998 - Robin Padilla's first movies after being released from prison will be produced by Viva Films and will star him opposite Rosanna Roces or Judy Ann Santos.

The information comes from Mrs. Eva Carino Padilla, Robin's mother, who now acts as the actor's manager. Mrs. Padilla said her son would most likely renew business ties with Viva Films, the outfit which made Robin an action superstar.

Although FLT Films produced the Robin Padilla movie "Anak, Pagsubok Lang" shot entirely in the National Bilibid Prisons in Muntinglupa in 1996, the Padilla family refuses to make any deal with the outfit.

Resuming his movie career may not be Robin's top priority, but he has told newsmen that it's his livelihood and would most likely be revived as soon as possible.

It is not yet known if Robin's conversion to Islam would affect the plots of the movies he will make. Prior to his incarceration, Robin's movies were marked with violence.
