SHARON'S GLOBAL FANS GRIEVE WITH HER LOSS

Internet News, April 6, 1998 - A report by Ricky Lo in the Philippine Star saddened many fans of megastar Sharon Cuneta upon the loss of her pregnancy.

A week ago, PHNO reported here, the happy news when her husband, Kiko Pangilinan who is at present attending law school in Harvard University, announced Sharon's pregnancy. But it turned out to be a delicate period for Shawie when her hormone level dropped and threatened the pregnancy. There was good news from the doctor after that, a few days ago.

Then last April 2, Sharon's husband wrote the following announcement:

"It is with regret that we inform you that despite all of the hopeful prayers and positive signs, we lost the baby last March 31st. We wish to thank everyone who wished us well and sent us congratulatory messages. Though we are hurt and sad, it is our strong faith in God which will pull us through. We are looking forward to the future and we believe that we will still be blessed with a baby in God's time."

Sharon adds: "although it was a tough two weeks for us, we have accepted the recent turn of events and are looking towards the future. We believe God has a reason for everything."

Sharon Cuneta's fans all over the world are eagerly awaiting her return to the concert stage. Her concert tour includes the following:

May 16, 1998 - at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California
May 30, 1998 - in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Western Canada
June 20, 1998 - in London, England
July 4, 1998 - in Reno, Las Vegas, Nevada

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is a survivor! She is always a good person, excellent human being. We are and will be rooting for you, Shawie, forever!
