AOL STARTS CLARK OPERATIONS IN MAY

Clark Field, April 12, 1998 - Clark Development Corporation president Romeo David announced that America Online is expected to start its operations inside the former US Air Force base next month.

David told journalists early this week that America Online recently shipped computer hardware to the Clark Special Economic Zone to further upgrade the computer facilities in the area.

America Online will base some of its international operations inside Clark, including the use of its Internet service.

Another computer giant, Intel Corporation, is currently building facilities inside a 10-hectare property inside Clark. Intel will manufacture Pentium processors and other products in its new Clark Special Economic Zone complex for shipment to other parts of Asia and the Pacific region.
